13 YEAR OLD BOY SCARES OFF WOLVES WITH MEGADEATH
I saw this story
on the web and
thought it was
very funny
it shows the
power of heavy metal
rock on
xxx
A 13-year-old Norwegian boy scared off a pack of wolves - by playing them heavy metal group Megadeath on his mobile phone.
Walter Acre was walking home from school in Rakkestad when he found himself encircled by the four snarling beasts, reports website Zvuki.ru.
Just as they seemed set to attack, the petrified youngster pulled out his phone and cranked out a song by Megadeth.
Walter had previously been told not to run away from wolves but to face them and attempt to scare them away.
And sure enough, the tactic worked as the sound of heavy metal music sent the animals scattering in confusion.
The website reports that Walter made it home safely, using one final blast of music to see off a stray wolf that was prowling close to his front porch.

With the illicit drug trade estimated by the UN at $320 billion (£200bn) a year and new drugs constantly appearing on the streets and the internet, it can seem as if we are in the grip of an unprecedented level of addiction. Yet the use of psychoactive drugs is nothing new, and indeed our most familiar ones - alcohol, coffee, tobacco - have all been illegal in the past.
From ancient Egyptian poppy tinctures to Victorian cocaine eye drops, Native American peyote rites to the salons of the French Romantics, mind-altering drugs have a rich history. 'High Society' will explore the paths by which these drugs were first discovered - from apothecaries' workshops to state-of-the-art laboratories - and how they came to be simultaneously fetishised and demonised in today's culture.

THE LE GUN RIPP OFF COPY CATS
Various designers/companies have been ripping-off our upside down cat image from LE GUN 4 recently - in particular the T-shirt designs we created using the same image for Duffer Saint George and Paul Smith.
We believe that it is wrong for these companies to be profiting from artwork and ideas that do not belong to them. If you know of any more examples please let us know.
Please support us by not buying these poor imitations.
For those who would like to buy the original T-shirt, we will be printing a new run to coincide with the launch of LE GUN 5 in April.

Hello,
Welcome to The Parody Blog!
It's a place that celebrates and questions all things that have to do with parodies, spoofs and irony.
For my final research at the Academy for Popculture I'm examining parodies within the context of pop culture through practical and theoretical research.
This space was created for communicating, to call interest for readers to start thinking, talking and discussing the topic parodies.
So please feel free to post or send questions, links, pictures about parodies to theparodyblog (at) gmail.com
Thank you for stopping by!

Has wove no pleasing patterns in the stuff

It is because we are not bold enough!
